June 26th, 2007 Jupiter has been a challenge this year, but I finally captured a nice sequence his past Tuesday evening. Animated gif consisting of 8 frames derived from 8 different AVIs. C8, Toucam 740, Baader UV/IR, 2X barlow. K3ccdtools, Registax4, Photoshop CS3 IO and its shadow are passing in front, Ganymede is getting ready to go behind Jupiter |

May 29th, 2006 I passed over this AVI when I did my first pass processing for the images below. However, this avi is better. This Jupiter image is my best ever. The moon is Io. C8 with Toucam 740K, eyepiece projection, K3ccdtools to capture at 10fps, Registax3 align, stack, wavelets. PSP X for color balance, crop, and high pass sharpen. 900/1300 frames stacked |
